🎄The Dazzling Lake Travis Holiday Light Parade
Mark your calendars! The highlight of the season for our entire community is the annual Holiday Light Parade. This is a breathtaking spectacle where dozens of boats, including many from Hurst Harbor, are completely transformed into floating works of art. Thousands of twinkling lights, holiday scenes, and festive music.

Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025
Time: Parade starts at 6:00 PM
The Route: The procession begins at Crosswater Yacht Club, glides past Lakeway Resort & Spa, turns around at Rough Hollow, and finishes at Captain Pete’s BoatMhouse.
A Cause for Cheer: This event is proudly hosted by local marinas, including Hurst Harbor, and serves as a major fundraiser for the Brown Santa program, helping families in need throughout Travis County. Please consider bringing a new, unwrapped toy to donate!

🌟 Lakeway Lights On
If you’re looking for a beautiful holiday walk on solid ground, a short trip from Hurst Harbor will take you to the famous Lakeway Lights On. It’s a beloved local tradition that turns the area around the Lakeway Activity Center and City Hall into a magical, immersive experience of holiday displays.
Bundle up the family, grab a hot chocolate, and enjoy a leisurely stroll through the beautifully lit paths. It’s the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit.
☃️ Volente Beach: Lights On The Lake
Experience a spectacular five-acre walk-through light show right on the shores of Lake Travis! Enjoy festive food, holiday-themed cocktails, fire pits for S’mores, and unique photo opportunities. They also offer a special “Jingle Boat Ride” add-on on select weekend nights.
Runs nightly from November 19, 2025, through January 4, 2026.
🛍️ Social Collective Ladies’ Holiday Market
On Tuesday, 12/2 from 6:30-8:30pm at Frontyard Brewing you can find some unique gifts while supporting a great cause at this festive market event! It’s the perfect opportunity for the ladies of the community to gather, shop, and give back.
Bring your girlfriends and shop from a variety of incredible local vendors, all while giving back to the Ark of Highland Lakes. It’s a lovely and festive night to find those one-of-a-kind holiday gifts.
🎬 Elf
On Friday, December 12th you can catch Elf at both Lakeway and Lago Vista!
Lakeway’s annual Christmas movie is held at Lakeway’s City Hall. Movie will start at 6pm.
In Lago Vista Lago Vista, Elf will be showing at the Lago Vista Golf Course. Seating starts at 5:30 PM and the movie will begin between 6:00 & 6:15 PM. Concessions will be availble by the North Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce. You can expect food & adult drink specials from The Bunker Bar & Grille.
Bring your golf carts, lawn chairs, blankets, and Christmas spirit — because the best way to spread Christmas cheer is watching ELF together.
🥩 Pre-Christmas Holiday Brunch at Steiner Ranch Steakhouse
For a luxurious, pre-holiday dining experience, book a spot at the Pre-Christmas Holiday Brunch on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the scenic Steiner Ranch Steakhouse.
